A Tour of the Museum

Civic Honours
The Museum contains an example of a 'Freedom' Scroll. The granting of a Freedom gives the Regiment the right to march through that Borough, Town or City with Colours flying, drums beating and bayonets fixed. This is exercised periodically. The Regiment and its predecessors have been granted many Honorary Freedoms, the full list can be seen below:
